Grant Nelson injury update: Alabama star’s status revealed for Mississippi State game

Alabama forward Grant Nelson is listed as probable for Tuesday evening’s game against Mississippi State, according to the SEC injury report. He is a starter for the Crimson Tide averaging 12.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
Nelson has not missed a game all season, so his appearance on the injury report is somewhat concerning. That said, while he might be a bit banged up, it isn’t likely to keep him out against the Bulldogs.
The senior is coming off of a rough outing against Kentucky, playing only 15 minutes due to foul trouble and finishing with five points and three rebounds. He’ll look to bounce back when the contest vs. Mississippi State tips off at 8 p.m. CT in Tuscaloosa.
