Micah Shrewsberry hits fiery rant before knocking over mic: ‘Don’t care if you gave up on me or not’

Micah Shrewsberry let it out in regards to the struggles for the Fighting Irish.

Following a 75-60 loss for Notre Dame to Louisville on Sunday, Shrewsberry ranted about what’s been going wrong for them to the extent that he knocked over the mic as he walked out of the press conference.

I asked Micah Shrewsberry what the biggest issues in Notre Dame’s last five games have been. The Irish were 10-10 and have fallen to 11-14.

This was his response, which turned into a heated, 2:40 rant.

“I don’t know, man. We’re going to keep fighting. That’s it. As a group, as a team – we’re going to keep fighting, alright. We’re going to keep trying to get back to the drawing board. We’re going to keep trying to guard people. We’re going to keep trying to score on people. And we’re playing good people too, alright. But I know these guys aren’t going to quit.
