Kentucky Baseball to open season with doubleheader on Friday

It was announced Wednesday afternoon that Kentucky Baseball’s season opening series at Lipscomb will open with a doubleheader on Friday due to projected rain in the area. There will now be no game on Saturday, with the series finale still taking place on Sunday.
Although Friday will feature a doubleheader, both games will still be nine-inning contests. Get ready for 18 innings of Kentucky Baseball to open the season Wildcat fans.
Senior right-hander Nic McCay will start for Kentucky in game one, while sophomore left-hander Ben Cleaver will start for Kentucky in game two.
