National programs jumping in on 2025 4-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson

National programs jumping in on 2025 4-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson

Warner Robins (Ga.) 2025 four-star edge Isaiah Gibson has entered the national stage as a recruit. The No. 244 overall prospect in the On3 Industry rankings has now accumulated 14 offers.

A few schools have his attention early. Florida, South Carolina, Oregon and North Carolina are in the early group for Gibson.

The four-star has been building a bond with those programs for the longest. They all jumped into his recruitment early.

“All those programs’ coaching staff are amazing,” Gibson told On3. “I felt like they’re all genuine. They’ve continued to show that they’re genuine toward me.”

Gibson has been working to return to Florida this summer though nothing has been set. On3’s Recruiting Prediciton Machine has Florida’s SEC East rival South Carolina with a slight lead early on for Gibson. The Gamecocks have a 28.7 percent chance of landing the four-star edge.

Gibson has the Gamecocks high on his board because of their history of developing defensive linemen into NFL players.

“I look at that a lot,” Gibson said. “I’ve been looking. I want to see how everything pans out by the time I graduate.”

Oregon caught Gibson’s attention when he visited back on April 27. The Ducks immediately shot up Gibson’s board after the visit.

“I love Oregon,” Gibson said. “I met all of the staff and all of the players. Some of their players are from Georgia, so we had that relationship right away.”

North Carolina got a visit from Gibson back on April 21. Mack Brown made an impression on Gibson.

“I had a conversation with Mack Brown and all of them,” Gibson said. “It was amazing. They showed a lot of love.”

Georgia the new program on the block for Isaiah Gibson

Georgia offered Gibson on Tuesday. Bulldogs’ coaches stopped by Warner Robins High School during the spring evaluation period last month where they saw Gibson practicing. The interest picked up from there and ultimately turned into an offer.

Gibson already has his eye on the back-to-back national champions. There are multiple factors that make Georgia intriguing for Gibson. Distance, development and culture immediately stick out for Gibson in Athens.

“I like UGA, it’s so close to home and it’s such a great program, there’s a lot I could benefit from at Georgia,” Gibson said. “For you to win a national championship and also go 15-0 in a season is very hard to do especially at the level they’re playing at. The SEC is the level right under the NFL.”
