Report: Pete Alonso signs massive two-year deal to return to New York Mets

The New York Mets and Pete Alonso have reportedly agreed to terms on a two-year deal to keep him in Queens.

According to Fox Sports, Alonso’s deal with the Mets includes an opt-out after the first season. He’ll earn $30 million during his first season, and $24 million in year two if he chooses to stay in New York.
