Tweets Of The Day

Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to 2026 Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star quarterback Matt Ponatoski, who attends the same powerhouse high school that produced Michigan sophomore running back Jordan Marshall.

Ponatoski was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio as a junior in 2024. Here’s what Gatorade wrote about him at the time of his selection: “At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound junior quarterback had led the Crusaders to a 14-1 record and a berth in the Division I state championship game. Ponatoski passed for 4,085 yards and 56 touchdowns against just three interceptions in 15 games, including 12 games with at least three TD tosses. A two-time Greater Catholic League First-Team honoree, he is also a nationally ranked shortstop for the Moeller baseball team.”

Michigan just offered Matt Ponatoski— a 2026 QB from Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller.

He’s the No. 109 recruit in the country and the No. 9 QB nationally. Ponatoski won Gatorade POTY in Ohio after throwing for 57 (!!!) TDs last year.

Michigan quarterback Davis Warren and wide receiver Peyton O’Leary helped cheer kids up at Mott Children’s Hospital.

There is so much more to Michigan student-athletes than what they give us on the field. We are incredibly grateful for guys like @1daviswarren2 & @peytonoleary6, who regularly take time out of their busy schedules to put smiles on kids’ faces at @MottChildren pic.twitter.com/ZJIMa2ApaH

Quote Of The Day

“For us to be able to not play anywhere near our best and find ways to win usually bodes well, because you stay hungry, you realize it’s easier to get the guys to pay attention to the details, versus maybe if you won by 15 or 16.”

— Michigan basketball head coach Dusty May
