WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
We continue our annual 30 for 30 countdown with the team’s top 30 players who played 30 or more reps. Check out our latest player on the countdown: No. 6 Mark Fletcher.
With spring practice right around the corner, we take a look at which position groups could potentially benefit from the second portal window in the coming months.
In recruiting news, Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines three-star 2026 linebacker Tony Williams talks about his recent visit to Coral Gables and the Hurricanes are one of his top programs.
After a recent in-school visit from Miami head coach Mario Cristobal, Anaheim (Calif.) Servite 2026 tight end Luke Sorensen is working to make his way down to South Florida to check out what the Canes have to offer. Another tight end in the 2026 class who is high on the Canes is Liberty Township (Ohio) Lakota East 2026 tight end PJ MacFarlane, so make sure to take a look at what he’s saying about UM with a potential visit on the horizon.
Lastly, we have an update on Clayton (N.C.) four-star DL Keshawn Stancil, who has set his official visit with the Hurricanes and is hoping to return to campus once more in the spring.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

Just incredible how Hester was the GOAT return man – the vision, the lateral shift, and then the acceleration to pull away from players. Nobody was ever as close to him as far returning, and only Barry Sanders that I can recall (I’m 43) had that level of physical attributes.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“It was amazing because you don’t usually get a head coach to come stop by, see you, and show some love,” Stancil told CaneSport. “I love Coach Cristobal and Miami’s coaching staff, so it was great for them to come to see me.”
