Ed Cooley gets into apparent altercation with fan at end of Xavier vs. Georgetown

Georgetown coach Ed Cooley appeared to get into an altercation with a Xavier fan at the end of Tuesday night’s game. The incident occurred in the final seconds of the Musketeers’ win over the Hoyas.

As time began to wind down Tuesday night, Georgetown attempted to get one final shot off before the buzzer. It missed, but when it did, Cooley was starting to walk toward the fans behind the basket.

Xavier’s athletics director Greg Christopher was part of the group to break things up. Cooley eventually walked away toward the handshake line.
