2026 No. 1 QB Jared Curtis locks in Auburn official visit

Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze dropped by to visit Nashville Christian five-star quarterback Jared Curtis earlier this week. The Tigers are one of six finalists for the No. 1 QB in the 2026 cycle.
On Friday, Curtis told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he’s now locked in an official visit to The Plains. Auburn is now set to get the 6-foot-3.5, 225-pounder back to campus for an OV from May 16-18.
It’s now the fourth official visit on the docket for Curtis. In June, he’s currently set to see Oregon (June 6-8), Georgia (June 13-15) and South Carolina (June 20-22).
“I will wait until official visits to make my decision,” Curtis, the No. 4 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking, told On3’s Chad Simmons in December. “I will get out more. When official visits open up, I will get down on some visits, see the school and see what I like about it.
“The factors when I make a decision will be the coaching staff, my relationship with the coaching staff and the class they bring in this year. Those and the class I would bring in with me would be the biggest things.”
As a junior, Curtis led Nashville Christian to a 13-1 record and a state title in the fall. Across 14 games, he threw for 2,830 yards and 40 touchdowns while also rushing for 637 yards and an additional 18 scores.
