Super Bowl LIX Odds: Betting line released for Philadelphia Eagles vs.

The odds are officially out for the Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. According to DraftKings, the Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites and the over/under for the matchup is 48.5.

The Eagles earned their second trip to the Super Bowl in the past three seasons with a dominant 55-23 win against their NFC East rival, the Commanders, on Sunday. Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts combined for six rushing touchdowns (three each) as the team had 229 yards on the ground as a whole.

Philadelphia has only one Super Bowl title to its name, having won in 2017 against the New England Patriots. But it has made it there now a total of five times and has to feel confident after the explosive offensive performance it put together in the NFC Championship.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills followed in the AFC title game, meeting for their fourth time in the playoffs since 2020. The Chiefs have won all four times.

Buffalo did all it could to give itself a chance, and even held a 22-21 lead late in the third quarter. But Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs took over in the fourth quarter, scoring a touchdown and getting the two-point conversion to go up by a touchdown.

The Bills answered with a touchdown to tie it up at 29, but Kansas CIty would go on to kick the go-ahead field goal in a 32-29 win. They now are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

Kickoff for Super Bowl LIX is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
