Providence student section chants ‘F**k Ed Cooley’ before win over Georgetown

College basketball fan bases in America are among some of the most passionate you’ll find out there. And the Providence Friars student section simply could not wait for the return of their old head basketball coach, Ed Cooley. He departed for the Georgetown Hoyas in March of 2023, and let’s just say the Friars’ fan base still has some very strong feelings over his departure. In the morning shootaround on Saturday, the Providence student section chanted, “F**k Ed Cooley”, before proceeding to win the game, 78-68.
