Florida Gators hold at No. 5 in the latest AP poll despite home loss

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators remained in the top five of the latest Associated Press Poll on Monday after splitting their two homes games in conference play this past week.

Florida held at No. 5 in the new AP Top 25 despite losing to Missouri last Tuesday, snapping a 16-game winning streak in the O’Dome. UF bounced back on Saturday with an 84-60 win over Texas.

The Gators (16-2, 3-2 SEC) are back on the road Saturday against South Carolina (10-8, 0-5 SEC). Tip is at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
