Ahead of Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship, ticket prices continue to soar. The get-in prices shattered records ahead of Ohio State vs. Notre Dame, according to TickPick and Front Office Sports.
The average purchase price is $2,637 for the title game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, according to TickPick. That makes it the most expensive CFP national championship ever. The cheapest ticket price is also $1,830.
To put this year’s national championship ticket prices in perspective, the average ticket for last year’s game between Alabama and Michigan was $1,934 at SoFi Stadium Los Angeles. That set the record set in 2020 when Alabama took on Ohio State, set at $1,626 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
