Minnesota upsets No. 20 Michigan behind Dawson Garcia buzzer-beater in overtime

Minnesota power forward Dawson Garcia pulled off some impressive heroics on Thursday night to lift the Golden Gophers to victory over the No. 20 Michigan Wolverines. In overtime, Garcia heaved a deep three-point shot from the M logo on the Minnesota floor, draining it at the buzzer to lift the Golden Gophers to an 84-81 victory.

Minnesota finished with three players in double figures, and they all scored over 20 points each: Dawson Garcia (27 points), Mike Mitchell Jr. (20 points), and Lu’Cye Patterson (22 points).
