IOL Landen Davidson told on Nebraska visit that he’s perfect for their pro-style offense

Broomfield (Colo.) interior offensive lineman Landen Davidson saw what Nebraska had to offer this weekend. The 6-foot-4 and 295-pound offensive lineman impressed Nebraska enough last weekend for an offer, and this weekend had a chance to meet with all of the staff and see how he can help out Nebraska on their offensive line.
“We got a really in-depth look at everything the program has to offer,” Davidson said. “We got to see the new facility that is under construction right now and what they have planned for it really stuck out to me.”
Landen Davidson felt the family vibe in Lincoln
Davidson was hosted by a local freshman offensive lineman that answered all of the questions that Davidson had for him. The offensive line included Davidson in their activities like he was already part of the team.
“My player host was Gunnar Gottula, a freshman offensive lineman. Getting one-on-one time with him and asking him any questions was awesome. We did laser tag and golfed with the other offensive linemen.
“All of the players love the coaches and talked to me about how it feels so much like a family. They do absolutely everything together.”
Davidson also had a chance to talk with a number of the Nebraska coaches. He sat down and watched film with the staff and talked about how he could help out the Huskers with the style of offense they wanted to run.
“I spent a lot of time talking to the coaches over the weekend, but especially I got a ton of time to talk with coach Donovan, coach Satterfield, and coach Rhule.
“They were so excited the entire time and telling me with my playing style how I will fit in perfectly with their pro-style offense at guard.”
The official visit to Nebraska was perfect to Landen Davidson
The visit got a perfect score from Davidson partly because of his tomahawk steak with the team on Saturday night. Overall though, he felt like part of the family all weekend long.
“It was a “10”, for sure!” Davidson said. “My favorite part about the trip was when me and all of the linemen each got 32-ounce tomahawk steaks and hanging around the guys.”
Davidson is still deciding which trip he will take the last weekend in June and doesn’t have a set timeline for his decision.
