Fran McCaffery talks prep for USC

With a massive wildfire raging in the hills surrounding Los Angeles, the Iowa men’s basketball team is on the ground in downtown LA as they prepare to play a basketball game on Tuesday evening against new Big Ten member, USC.

Fran McCaffery and his staff working on their scouting reports and the players are going to be hitting the practice court on Monday afternoon at USC. The Iowa head coach talks about what he has seen from the Trojans this season on the court, what the plans are for the team beyond the game on Tuesday evening since they are also slated to play at UCLA on Friday night. Plus he talks about finding Drew Thelwell and how has been such a great fit for the Iowa program.
