Cliff Omoruyi injury: Alabama big man heads to locker room following concerning fall

As a top 10 battle takes place in Reed Arena, the Alabama Crimson Tide now have an injury to deal with. Center Cliff Omoruyi took an awkward fall when fighting for a rebound, twisting his ankle. Omoruyi stayed on the ground as his teammates raced to the other end with a whistle eventually being blown.

Alabama trainers had to end onto the court and help Omoruyi get to his feet. There was no stop at the bench, though. Omoruyi immediately went into the locker room, presumably to get his ankle checked out and determine if he could finish this game against Texas A&M.

“Cliff Omoruyi stays down on the court and needs help to the Tide bench,” Charlie Potter of On3’s BOL said via X. “He’s not putting pressure on his right leg as he heads to the visiting locker room.”
