Greg Sankey excited for Texas, SEC to play ‘underdog’ role vs. Ohio State in College Football Playoff
According to FanDuel, Texas is a 5.5-point underdog against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl Classic on Friday evening. Alas, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey wouldn’t want it any other way.
“I ran into SEC Commissioner [Greg Sankey] on the Texas sideline,” ESPN’s Pete Thamel wrote on X. “‘I relish being the underdog again,’ he said with a smile. ‘It’s refreshing. We enjoy being under-estimated.’”
The two teams will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will air live on ESPN. The winner will advance to the national championship to face off against Notre Dame.
