Report: Pete Carroll to interview for Las Vegas Raiders head coach job

After meeting with the Chicago Bears on Thursday, Pete Carroll has another interview lined up, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. He is set to speak with the Las Vegas Raiders next week.

Carroll spent the 2024 season away from the sidelines after transitioning into an adviser role with the Seattle Seahawks. Reports emerged about his interest in the Bears’ job late in the regular season, and the conversation took place virtually Thursday, the team announced.

The Raiders are in the early stages of their search to replace Antonio Pierce after announcing his departure this week. Las Vegas went 4-13 this past season, though, which led to the decision to move on from Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco after one year.
