Chicago Bears set to interview Pete Carroll for head coaching job, per report

The Chicago Bears are set to interview Pete Carroll for their open head coach position, ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported. Carroll previously spent 13 years as the coach of the Seattle Seahawks from 2010-23, leading them to two Super Bowl appearances with one title in that span.

If hired, Carroll would replace Matt Eberflus, whom the team let go in late November. Thomas Brown took over as the interim head coach as Chicago finished with a 5-12 record.
