Duquesne transfer linebacker Ty Howard announces commitment to Ohio State

Former Duquesne linebacker Ty Howard will transfer to Ohio State for the 2025 season, he announced Sunday via X. He spent the past three seasons with the Dukes and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Howard had a breakout year in 2024 to earn first team all-Northeast Conference honors. He led all linebackers in the league with three interceptions to go along with four sacks, four passes defended, a fumble recovery and 52 total tackles.
