UConn head coach Jim Mora doubles down on tampering accusations, singles out Washington State

After threatening those who tamper with the transfer portal to start this week, UConn’s Jim Mora has now outright named a school that is doing so.

In a tweet on Thursday, Mora continued on his warpath against those in college sports who are tampering with players like his in the portal. That post included a quote from what can assumed to be one of his Huskies who was contacted by a program that he went ahead and singled out in Washington State.

“I was originally content with my decision with coming to UConn I feel like I allowed Washington State to get into my head when I could have just ignored them I expressed to them that I was signed but I continued to conversate”

“I was originally content with my decision with coming to UConn I feel like I allowed Washington State to get into my head when I could have just ignored them I expressed to them that I was signed but I continued to conversate,” Mora shared in a quote

“Why do grown men continue to manipulate @NCAAFootball tampering rules and put players in the uncomfortable position this young man was put in!” tweeted Mora. “I promised to call out those tampering with our players and threatening what our players are working so hard to build. I intend to continue to do so and hope more college coaches will join me in fighting the blatant tampering taking place.”
