Washington Commanders honor Jimmy Carter ahead of SNF game vs. Atlanta Falcons

Following the news of the passing of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United State, this afternoon, the Washington Commanders honored the former Commander in Chief tonight on Sunday Night Football.

Ahead of kickoff for the matchup between the Commanders and Atlanta Falcons, Northwest Stadium, which is located a half hour outside the nation’s capital in Landover, Maryland, held a moment of silence in paying respect to Carter.
