New Sooners Prediction for Isaiah Mozee

Oklahoma’s less than 24 hours into it’s first big visit weekend and the first prediction has come in. Though, not for a player currently on campus.
Last weekend the Sooners played host to the On3 industry rankings No. 3 overall player Williams Nwaneri on his official visit to Norman. Joining him on that trip was 2025 wide receiver Isaiah Mozee, the son of Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Lee’s Summit North head coach Jamar Mozee.
After a week of communication it is time to make a prediction for Mozee to end up in Norman. That prediction was buoyed by an update from On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons. It’s a choice that carries particular weight as the elder Mozee was a 1999 signee for the Sooners in Bob Stoops‘s first class in Norman.
“It would be a little surprising if 2025 four-star (WR) Isaiah Mozee ends up anywhere other than Oklahoma. He is going to take his visits, and national schools are in pursuit, but his father played for the Sooners. Mozee grew up a big fan of the program and he is already comfortable with the staff in Norman. He was with his teammate Williams Nwaneri on his official visit to Oklahoma last weekend,” Simmons said in a Saturday morning update.

All these things bode well for the Sooners as does Mozee’s relationship with former North teammate, and current Sooner freshman, Cayden Green.
A big potential win for the Sooners will be landing three in a row at North with Green and Mozee potentially sandwiching Nwaneri. Joining Mozee in the class of 2025 is fellow North prospect, and OU offer, Ka’Mori Moore. The talented defensive tackle, paid a visit to Norman last week for the Sooners camp.
Mozee is currently favored to pick the Sooners at 82.3-percent in the On3 recruiting prediction machine (RPM). They are trailed by Missouri (5-percent), Nebraska (2.6-percent), and Kansas (1.5).
