Fringe 2025 top 100 recruit sets return Notre Dame visit

Fringe 2025 top 100 recruit sets return Notre Dame visit

Waukesha (Wisc.) Catholic Memorial’s Owen Strebig has scheduled his Notre Dame return visit. On Friday, the four-star offensive tackle told Blue & Gold he would return to South Bend for an unofficial college recruiting visit on June 22.

The 6-foot-7, 295-pound Strebig first visited Notre Dame on April 15. That was about a month after first-year Fighting Irish offensive line coach Joe Rudolph offered him a scholarship. And Rudolph gave Strebig a flattering message.

“They said I’m their number one tackle,” Strebig told Blue & Gold on April 16.

After Strebig’s first Notre Dame visit, it put the Irish nearly No. 1 in his recruitment.

“They will always be in there,” Strebig said. “Quite frankly, it’s Notre Dame football. It’s a Notre Dame education. And those are two amazing things.”

In addition to Notre Dame, Stebig reports 19 Power Five scholarship offers. Among those offers, he’s reported unofficial visits to Wisconsin (3), Iowa (2), Minnesota, Illinois, Penn State, Florida, Michigan, Florida State, UCF, Southern California and UCLA.

The On3 Industry Ranking — a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services — considers Strebig the No. 102 overall player, No. 10 offensive tackle and No. 1 prospect in Wisconsin. He has a 92.23 rating.

In On3’s own rankings, Strebig is the No. 40 overall player, No. 5 offensive tackle and No. 1 prospect in Wisconsin. On3 gave him a 93 rating.

Strebig’s On3 NIL Valuation annual value is $51,000.

The other 2025 recruiting targets Notre Dame expects to visit in June

In addition to Srebig, the Irish will host Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School safety Ethan Long on June 22. The 6-2, 185-pound Long does not yet hold an On3 or On3 Industry Ranking.

They will also welcome to campus top 100 cornerback target Devin Williams from Buford (Ga.) High. The 5-foot-11, 168-pound Williams is The On3 Industry Ranking’s as the No. 60 overall player, No. 5 cornerback and No. 12 prospect in Georgia.

The next day, Notre Dame expects Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton High four-star tight end Ryan Ghea to return to South Bend for the third time. The 6-5, 228-pound Ghea is the No. 237 overall player, No. 13 tight end and No. 28 prospect in Georgia, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

On June 20, the Irish will welcome to campus Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra safety Tre’ Harrison and Washington D.C. St. John’s Tariq Hayer. The 5-11, 175-pound Hayer is the No. 172 overall player, No. 18 cornerback and No. 2 prospect in Maryland, per the On3 Industry Ranking. Harrison does not yet hold an On3 or On3 Industry Ranking.
