Lane Kiffin blasts College Football Playoff committee after Indiana’s blowout loss
As Notre Dame tried to put the finishing touches on a College Football Playoff win over Indiana on Friday, Lane Kiffin reacted to the way the game was going. He took to social media to blast the committee amid the low-scoring affair in the first round.
Ole Miss was one of the first teams out of the CFP field, and Kiffin was vocal about his stance on whether the Rebels deserved to be in the 12-team bracket. Indiana was on the other side of the conversation. Despite an 11-1 record, the Hoosiers had one of the weakest schedules of the 12 teams remaining in the CFP.
IU didn’t score its first touchdown against Notre Dame until the 1:27-mark of the fourth quarter. Shortly before that play, Kiffin called out the committee for a “really exciting competitive game.”
“Really exciting competitive game @CFBPlayoff,” Kiffin said, along with a thinking emoji with a monocle. “Great job!!”
