Michigan State adds transfer portal offensive lineman Luka Vincic

Michigan State added another transfer portal commitment this afternoon, adding former Oregon State offensive lineman Luka Vincic, he announced via social media.

Vincic (6-5, 300) played in ten games for Oregon State in 2024. He saw action in 344 snaps, at both center and guard. Vincic also played in ten games in 2023 as a redshirt freshman, seeing action in two more games as a true freshman in 2022.

Originally of Bothell (Wash.), Vincic just completed his redshirt sophomore season in Corvallis, giving him two more seasons of eligibility.

Vincic will reunite with offensive line coach Jim Michalczik and head coach Jonathan Smith in East Lansing. He committed after an official visit over the weekend.

Michigan State also received a commitment from transfer portal wide receiver Omari Kelly on Sunday (Dec. 15).

Michigan State will look to replace graduating offensive line seniors Tanner Miller (center), Luke Newman (guard) and Brandon Baldwin (tackle/guard) in 2025. The Spartans will return a handful of young scholarship guards, including redshirt sophomores Kristian Phillips and Gavin Broscious and redshirt freshman Cole Dellinger. All three missed a majority of 2024 season due to injury.

The Spartans and Jim Michalczik will be in the market to add at least two more offensive lineman via the transfer portal this off-season. Michigan State has hosted two other portal lineman for visits so far, in former Northwestern starter and Fenton (Mich.) native Josh Thompson, along with Western Carolina interior lineman Caleb Carter.

According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Michigan State has also been rumored to be on the visit schedule for former Virginia Tech offensive lineman Braelin Moore, as he will also visit LSU.
