WATCH: Mark Pope’s daughter stake claim to family Bronco in Paul Miller Ford ad

Mark Pope has shown off his acting chops in a few commercials now (the Kroger one is still my favorite). Now, his girls are getting in on the fun.

The Pope family’s new ad for Paul Miller Ford is out this morning. In it, his youngest daughter Shay describes the family’s new custom Big Bend Bronco, which the girls make clear is just for them and not their parents. As you can see, Pope — in a No. 41 Paul Miller Ford jersey — doesn’t seem too happy about that.

Flashback Friday: Rich Brooks and John Calipari’s 2009 Paul Miller Ford ad

The Pope’s Paul Miller Ford ad sent me down a rabbit hole, unearthing this gem from 2009. Do you remember that the John Calipari and Rich Brooks eras briefly overlapped? Cal was hired in April 2009 and Brooks retired after Kentucky Football’s 2009 season. Back when Cal was the new guy on the block, they filmed this ad for Paul Miller Ford, with Brooks bragging about his special edition F-150 as Calipari watches his special edition Mustang pull up.

Feels like a century ago.
