Pack Pros: LB Vi Jones sets new career-high tackles mark with Buccaneers

After starting the season on the practice squad, Pack Pro linebacker Vi Jones has emerged as a rotational player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It paid off with a career-best showing against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jones, who is in his second season in the NFL, logged five total tackles, including three solo stops, in the Buccaneers’ 28-13 win over the Raiders. He played a season-best 59 total snaps in the victory, including a career-high 36 on defense.
While Jones had a standout performance for the Buccaneers, he wasn’t the only Pack Pro in action. Here’s a look at how the rest of NC State’s NFL players fared in their respective games this past week.

DL B.J. Hill Jr. (2014-17), #92 Cincinnati Bengals: Hill logged three total tackles, including one sack, in the Bengals’ 27-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. He also had two quarterback hits in the victory.
RB Nyheim Hines (2015-17), #22 Cleveland Browns: Hines will not play this season as he recovers from a jet ski accident suffered in July 2023.
