Emmett Johnson announces staying at Nebraska instead of entering transfer portal

Emmett Johnson isn’t leaving Nebraska after all. Just a few days after it was reported that the Cornhuskers RB planned to enter the transfer portal, he announced that he is returning for the 2025 season.

Johnson posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, where he stated his decision to come back to Lincoln for a fourth season.
