On the latest episode of Inside the Program, Joe Cook and Eric Nahlin go over the latest team news on both sides of the ball for the Texas Longhorns ahead of their matchup with the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship. They also discuss recruiting and the pursuit of Justus Terry, and go over Kelvin Banks’ status for Saturday.

The Longhorns respect the Georgia Bulldogs, but that’s not to say they fear them. In fact, that respect goes both ways as Georgia head coach Kirby Smart pulled out some exotic blitzes against Texas. Nahlin explains the confidence in the game plan and how critical it will be for Quinn Ewers to hang onto the football.
They go over the defense and the need to make sure Carson Beck struggles on Saturday considering the depleted nature of the Georgia running back room. Texas made an interesting choice for their uniforms, electing to wear road whites even as the No. 1 seed. That comes from a road mentality Nahlin explains in detail.
They conclude with a look at Kelvin Banks and what his status for Saturday afternoon is and whether or not Trevor Goosby is ready for the moment. Lastly, a look at Texas’ pursuit of Justus Terry and whether Texas has done all it could to win the recruitment.
