We made it, Alabama fans.
It was a rollercoaster of a year on the recruiting trail that began with Nick Saban‘s abrupt retirement announcement on Jan. 10. Ryan Williams immediately decommitted from the Tide. Two days later, Kalen DeBoer was announced as head coach. Over the next couple of weeks, most of Bama’s 2025 class would go on to decommit as the program evaluated their big board for the cycle.

With 11 months to work with, DeBoer and Company had to build the class from the ground up, and build it up they did. Although there were some flips along the way, Alabama made it to Dec. 4 with one of the top recruiting classes in the country. They signed 20 prospects before noon on Wednesday, and still have another target left in LSU wide receiver commit Derek Meadows as of publishing this story.
Running back Akylin Dear, the No. 2 player at his position in the 2025 class, was the last prospect to be officially announced in the first half of the day. Immediately after, BamaOnLine’s staff went live on the BOL YouTube channel to discuss a relatively quiet day for the Crimson Tide.
