National Signing Day has arrived for South Carolina football as the Gamecocks 2025 recruiting class will officially put pen to paper on Wednesday, the first day of the three-day early signing period, which has become the default signing window for most prospects.
The entire South Carolina commit list is expected to sign during the early period which officially begins at 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

The major storylines and timeline
— Christian Ingram commits (10 a.m.). Covington (Ga.) Newton three-star DL Christian Ingram has a final three of South Carolina, Southern Cal, and Kentucky going into signing day.
Ingram has taken official visits to all three programs during the season and was in Columbia two weekends ago followed by his OV to Los Angeles this past weekend.
He will announce his decision during a 10 a.m. ceremony and then sign with the school of his choice.

— Mike Tyler signs (1 p.m.). Hammond (S.C.) three-star tight end Mike Tyler is technically still committed to LSU but South Carolina has been pushing for the Columbia native down the stretch.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder will make his final decision between the two schools known during a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Hammond gym and then will sign with the school of his choice.
Tyler took his official visit to South Carolina a few weeks ago.

— Kevin Wynn signs (Time unknown). Greensboro (Ga.) Greene County four-star DL Kevin Wynn has been committed to Florida State for months but South Carolina and Georgia have continued to push for his signature.
That signature will come on Wednesday though a timeline has not been revealed.
Most of the national buzz has been around FSU and UGA but the Gamecocks are in it.

— Jared Smith signs (Time unknown). Hoover (Ala.) Thompson four-star EDGE Jared Smith has been committed to Auburn for some time but both South Carolina and Ole Miss have continued to push for him.
The Gamecocks got Smith on campus for two games this fall after hosting him on an official visit in the summer.

— Zay Hardy signs (Time unknown). A former South Carolina commitment out of high school, Zavion Hardy is currently committed to Mississippi State but the Gamecocks have continued to push for the top junior college defensive tackle.

— Shane Beamer speaks (3 p.m.). South Carolina head football coach Shane Beamer will hold a press conference at 3 pm ET on Wednesday to discuss the signing class and more. It will be the first time he’s spoken publicly about the newest Gamecocks.
