Keenan Allen injury update: Bears WR’s severity revealed
Chicago Bears star wide receiver went down with an apparent ankle injury in the second half of the team’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions. Luckily, the injury doesn’t appear to be a severe one.
On the following drive, with the Lions in possession, the CBS broadcast shared an update on Allen’s status, announcing he was likely to return.
“We saw Keenan Allen get rolled up on that ankle, needed help to the blue tent,” Tracy Wolfson said. “They looked at him inside. They taped up that ankle. He got out, he did some running, got the thumbs up from the athletic trainers. Looks like he will go back in after that drive.”
