NC State at UNC odds: Early Point spread released, How to Watch
The North Carolina Tar Heels and NC State Wolfpack are set to renew their heated rivalry on Saturday in Week 14. The Tar Heels currently sit at 6-5 overall and the Wolfpack find themselves sitting at 5-6, needing a win in the game to punch their tickets to a bowl game. UNC has already secured six wins, so they’re guaranteed a bowl berth, but NC State will have to find a way to get it done on Saturday if they want to go bowling.
NC State has dominated the rivalry in previous years, winning three straight and six of the last eight. The Tar Heels will look to turn the tide this weekend in front of their home crowd in Chapel Hill.
The early odds have been released for the rivalry game, according to FanDuel, with North Carolina representing a 3.5-point favorite. The over/under is currently set at 54.5 total points. You can view more information about the contest, including how to watch, below.

Location: Kenan Memorial Stadium (Chapel Hill, North Carolina)
North Carolina has won three of their last four games, but they were throttled this weekend by the Boston College Eagles 41-21. It was by far the worst game of the season for Omarion Hampton, who has firmly cemented his place as one of the best running backs in UNC football history. He only managed 53 rushing yards against the BC defense. He’ll look to rebound and return to his usual form on Saturday. Hampton currently sits fifth all-time in total rushing yardage in Tar Heel football history. He’s already racked up 3,327 total rushing yards and 35 touchdowns on the ground.
Hampton figures to be one of the top running backs selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Plenty of the hype will center around Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, and rightfully so, but Hampton remains on par as one of the nation’s best. He is the best player on North Carolina’s roster. And he’ll need to have a big performance to carry them in the rivalry game.
NC State tight end Justin Joly is one of their more dangerous weapons. He’s tallied 576 receiving yards and three touchdowns this season. Wolfpack wideout Kevin Concepcion is one of the more dynamic playmakers in the ACC. He’s hauled in 416 receiving yards and five touchdowns this year.
It should be an exciting rivalry matchup with plenty at stake for both teams. Bragging rights for both teams and bowl eligibility on the line for the Wolfpack. We’ll see how it shakes out on Saturday.
