Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate is set for the final week of the regular season — and the Yellow Jackets are looking to play spoiler in Athens on Friday night.
Week 14’s matchup will be the 118th all-time meeting between Georgia Tech and the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia will be looking for its 10th win of the year, while the Yellow Jackets are looking to spoil their College Football Playoff chances during the final week of the regular season.
Heading into game week, Georgia has opened as a 20.5-point favorite over Georgia Tech, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
The over/under is set at 54.5 points
How to watch Georgia Tech vs. Georgia

Georgia holds a 71-41-5 record against Georgia Tech all time, including having beaten the Yellow Jackets in their last six meetings.
The last time the annual matchup went in favor of Georgia Tech came in 2016 in a 28-27 upset over the Bulldogs in Athens. The Yellow Jackets also defeated Georgia in 2014 as well, but have only defeated the Bulldogs four times since the turn of the century.
In 2025, this matchup will be played inside Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It will mark the first time in the modern era that the game is played on a field other than Sanford Stadium or Bobby Dodd Stadium.
In all years previous, including 2024, the rivalry had been played annually from 1925 onward, save for a one-season hiatus in 2020. Before 1925, Georgia and Georgia Tech also met 19 times, though those were not annual matchups.
The move to a neutral site (despite being in Tech’s home city) won’t be permanent, however. The change comes while ongoing construction on the Fanning Center continues in and around Bobby Dodd Stadium. In 2027, the game will return to Bobby Dodd Stadium. With the move, the Georgia Bulldogs will not lose a home game in the rivalry series.
