More on the matchup between Texas A&M and Auburn

Both the Aggies and Tigers enter this game with something still to play for, though the stakes are a bit higher on A&M’s side. It still has a chance to compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff, but can’t afford another loss as it already has two on the year.

Auburn, on the other hand, enters the game at 4-6 in its second season under coach Hugh Freeze. It needs to win its remaining two games to make a bowl game, which it did in his first year.

This will be the 15th meeting all-time between Auburn and Texas A&M. The Aggies hold an 8-6 lead in the series and also won the most recent matchup by a score of 27-10 in 2023.

Auburn will look to get its revenge for that game and also play spoiler to A&M’s CFP hopes on Saturday. Kickoff between the Aggies and Tigers is set for 6:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPN.
