Trevor Etienne injury update: Georgia RB to miss showdown vs. Tennessee

Georgia’s second availability report for Tennessee features some bad news. Bulldog running back Trevor Etienne, the team’s leading rusher, is out for Saturday’s game. Etienne sustained a rib injury against Florida two weeks ago and didn’t play in the second half of that game. He only had nine touches in the loss to Ole Miss last week.

He’s one of three Georgia running backs who are now out for this game, joining Branson Robinson and Roderick Robinson. The Bulldogs will also be without Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, a freshman defensive lineman.

Walk-on tailback Cash Jones (lower body) is still questionable but practiced on Thursday. Junior guard Micah Morris (lower body) and sophomore wideout Anthony Evans are also questionable.

Georgia and Tennessee will play on November 16. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Bulldogs are currently favored by 9.5 points according to the Vegas Insider consensus.
