Ashton Jeanty states he should win Heisman Trophy over Travis Hunter

As the Heisman Trophy race heats up, Travis Hunter and Ashton Jeanty remain at the forefront. The two stars are seen as the favorites for college football’s top honor, and Jeanty thinks he should win it over Hunter.

Jeanty discussed the Heisman conversation on Sleeper’s Kickin’ It With Dee and pointed out Hunter’s achievements. The Colorado standout makes an impact on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback, playing nearly every snap.

But Jeanty leads the Boise State offense as the top rusher in the country. Although he watches what Hunter does in Colorado, Jeanty thinks he should bring home the Heisman Trophy.

“He is balling,” Jeanty said of Hunter. “But I just feel like what I’m doing, it’s just too special. … I give credit where credit is due. I watch Travis, I watch his games. Incredible player. I’ve never seen people do what he’s doing. But I know myself, I know my talents. I feel like I’m the best player in college football.”
