Tyreek Hill injury update: Dolphins WR injured on TD celebration vs. Rams, per report

Miami Dolphins (3-6) receiver Tyreek Hill came into Monday night’s Week 10 road contest against the Los Angeles Rams (4-5) nursing a left wrist injury.

He came out of the game with a new injury. Hill sustained a neck injury in the 23-15 victory and might miss Wednesday’s practice, he told Taylor Bisciotti of NFL Network.

The injury occurred in the third quarter after Hill came down with a one-yard touchdown reception, his second score of the season. Hill and fellow wideout Odell Beckham Jr. went in for a professional wrestling inspired celebration, with Hill landing hard on his back.

Hill was excited and for good reason. The five-time All-Pro hadn’t found the end zone since Week 1, and the score gave Miami a 16-7 lead.

The Dolphins had listed Hill as a game-time decision after he reaggravated his wrist injury earlier this week and did not participate in Friday or Saturday’s practice. Hill, 30, told Lisa Salters of ESPN he has a torn ligament in his wrist, but played through the pain in helping Miami snap its three-game losing streak. Hill said the injury first came up during training camp and got worse after being handcuffed to the ground by police just hours before the season opener.
