Top Pitchers
Jada Savage (East Coweta, Ole Miss Commit)
The East Coweta ace led her team to its fourth GHSA state championship by defeating Buford in the if-necessary game. Savage posted a remarkable 0.89 ERA and struck out 26 batters over 25 innings, holding opponents to a .160 batting average. Savage frequently used her off-speed to keep hitters guessing, even deploying it in back-to-back counts to seal strikeouts. Ranked 98th in the 2026 class, her performance against the No. 1 pitcher showcased her true talent and competitiveness.
Caroline Stanton (Buford, Florida Commit)
Despite early control struggles, allowing 16 walks in 27.2 innings, Stanton made her presence known in the circle, still posting a .076 ERA and 30 strikeouts. She excelled on the other side of the ball as well, batting .409 with three home runs and nine RBIs. Stanton’s dual threat kept Buford competitive throughout the tournament and to a runner-up finish.
Jessica Epps (Wesleyan, Uncommitted)
After dropping the first game, the junior right-hander anchored Wesleyan’s pitching staff en route to their third consecutive state title. Epps pitched 47.2 innings, leading the tournament with six wins and 58 strikeouts. Her effective rise and screwball kept hitters to a .181 average, showcasing her endurance and pinpoint accuracy in critical games.
Gwen Hill (Hebron Christian Academy, Furman Commit)
Although Hebron endured another heartbreaker in the end, Hill helped lead her team back to the championship game, posting 52 strikeouts across 34 innings. While she battled control, allowing 11 walks, she maintained a 0.62 ERA, demonstrating her ability to get outs when needed.
Addie Edwards (Heritage, Northeast Alabama Commit)
Edwards was the only pitcher in the tournament to complete 10+ innings without allowing a single earned run. She struck out 42 batters over 25 innings, proving a key force for Heritage in their championship run.
Clutch Moments
Audrey Graham (Cherokee Bluff, Liberty Commit)
With a full count, two outs, and bases loaded in the seventh inning, Moore hit a grand slam to propel Cherokee Bluff into the 5A finals.
Brooklyn Atha (Buford, 2027)
