“Most important was look at entire first half of the season with humility and acknowledge the things that must improve to continue to find a way to get to 1-0 each week. It stems from the fundamentals of football as the season goes on, you can’t allow them to deteriorate. So blocking, tackling, throwing, catching, ball security, ball destruction are always at a premium. Communication and eye discipline and discipline not only from a football and execution standpoint, but self-control, right? Those are things that were not only addressed but practiced, hammered away at.”
