Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice injury update: Latest status on Alabama WRs before facing South Carolina

Alabama and South Carolina will both be looking to bounce back from disappointing losses when they square off against one another this Saturday. An SEC matchup kicking off at noon ET in Tuscaloosa and a series actually tied 3-3 in the program’s last six matchups.

The Crimson Tide are heavy home favorites following their stunning 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt last weekend. More than likely highly motivated for this one after dropping from the top-ranked team in the country to No. 7 in the AP Poll following their first loss of the season.

South Carolina on the other hand will be looking to recapture the magic of their first SEC win of the season over Kentucky in dominant fashion. Dropping two straight conference games after that including a lopsided loss to Ole Miss last weekend.

The status of Alabama wideouts Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice were both in question all week for the Crimson Tide, with Prentice exiting Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt in the first half and Law unavailable for last weekend’s matchup. But regardless of who steps on the field for Alabama, it’s no secret that all eyes will be on the Crimson Tide to perform this week after falling to Vanderbilt for the first time in 40 years.

Alabama represents the second of four straight-ranked opponents that South Carolina faces. A gauntlet of a stretch that’s commonplace in the SEC as they look for a signature road win with several players ruled out of the lineup.
