Auburn has five commitments in its 2024 recruiting class with three projected to play on offense.
Needless to say, there’s still plenty of work to be done before the early signing period begins in December. There’s also plenty of time.

What is left for Auburn on offense in the 2024 class? Who are the top recruits at each position and what are Auburn’s chances with each?
The Hot Board has the answers.
Below are the recruits I believe are the top targets at each position and my guesses at Auburn’s chances of signing them. Keep in mind, the percentages are Auburn’s chances against the field.
Quarterback (1)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentWalker White (4)Little Rock, Ark.–AUAU
Auburn wanted one quarterback in its class and already has committed its top target at the position. White is a top-100 overall recruit (96) and the No. 1 recruit in Arkansas. He committed to Auburn over Clemson. White plans to be on campus Friday to participate in camp.
“At the end of the day, I’m going to honor my commitment and I’m going to go full force for my class at Auburn and classes below that,” White told On3. “I’m going to work really hard to try to get really good players around me and I will be taking multiple trips to Auburn to help recruit. I’m at Auburn. I’m going to honor that. I won’t take any more trips anywhere else. Auburn’s my place.”
Running backs (2)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentJ’Marion Burnett (4)Andalusia, Ala.–AUAUKevin Riley (4)Northport, Ala.–35%35%Daniel Hill (4)Meridian, Miss.6/925%25%
Auburn has a commitment from Burnett, but is looking for a second back with Riley and Hill likely the top two targets. Riley has visited Auburn and plans to return this summer for an official visit. Hill plans to be on campus this weekend.
Wide receivers (3-4)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentCam Coleman (5)Phenix City, Ala.6/1260%60%Bryce Cain (3)Mobile, Ala.6/955%50%Mario Craver (4)Pinson, Ala.–45%50%Malcolm Simmons (4)Alexander City, Ala.–50%50%Perry Thompson (4)Foley, Ala.6/1640%Bama/40%Ricky Johnson (3)Warner Robins, Ga.–25%25%Braylon Staley (4)Aiken, SC–20%20%
Auburn is looking to sign at least three wide receivers in this class and might not have to leave the state to do so. The Tigers could sign their class from a group of Coleman, Cain, Simmons, Craver and Thompson, all from the state of Alabama. The top two on the board likely are Coleman and Thompson. I think Auburn has been and will continue to be the team to beat for Coleman. Thompson, a longtime Alabama commitment, will officially visit Auburn June 16-18. Also, keep an eye on Cain and Craver and whether or not Auburn pushes for neither, one or both. Cain has Auburn and Ole Miss as his top two. Craver has Auburn and Florida. Craver visited on Thursday; Cain is visiting on Friday.
Tight ends (2)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentMartavious Collins (3)Calhoun, Ga.–AUAUCaleb Odom (4)Carrollton, Ga.6/1240%40%Amir Jackson (4)Portal, Ga.9/2935%35%Roger Saleapaga (4)Orem, Utah–25%25%Carter Nelson (4)Ainsworth, Neb.–15%15%
Auburn has a commitment from Collins, a more traditional-type tight end. The Tigers now are looking for someone to pair with him, a guy who can stretch the field vertically. Odom and Jackson are the top two targets. Odom visited last week and will return June 12 for an official visit. Also, Jackson has locked in his official visit for the Georgia game in late September.
Interior offensive line (3)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentCaleb Holmes (4)Fairburn, Ga.6/955%55%Jameson Riggs (3)Hiram, Ga.6/1650%50%Casey Poe (4)Lindale, Texas6/1635%35%John Wayne Oliver (3)Nashville, Tenn.–35%35%Preston Taumua (4)Aiea, Hawaii6/1620%20%William Echoles (3)Houston, Miss.–20%20%
Auburn has four of its top offensive linemen coming in for official visits this month. The Tigers appear to be in good position with Holmes and Riggs and absolutely in it for both Poe and Taumua. I think Auburn has the edge for Holmes and is battling Clemson for Riggs. We should know a lot more about these guys after the weekend of June 16, but Auburn is in prime position here heading into OVs.
Offensive tackles (3-4)
Name (star rating)HometownOVPreviousCurrentReese Baker (3)Huntsville, Ala.–55%60%Kahlil House (3)Warner Robins, Ga.––60%Daniel Calhoun (4)Roswell, Ga.6/1235%35%Coen Echols (3)Katy, Texas6/925%25%Chase Malamala (3)N Palm Beach, Fla.–25%25%Fletcher Westphal (4)Leesburg, Va.–15%15%Ethan Calloway (4)Mooresville, NC–15%15%Jonathan Daniels (4)Pensacola, Fla.–15%15%
Auburn appears to be in great shape with Baker, who camped/visited earlier this week. The same can be said for House, who earned an offer on Thursday. The Tigers also will have on campus in the next few days two of its top tackle targets in Calhoun and Echols.
