WATCH: Kentucky MBB player interviews from 2024-25 Media Day

Kentucky basketball’s 2024-25 Media Day is in the books. On Tuesday, reporters and television anchors from all across the state converged on the newly renovated Memorial Coliseum to hear from the new head coaches and players of both the men’s and women’s programs.

Up first was the men’s side. If you missed everything Mark Pope had to say during his first Media Day as coach of the Wildcats, you can get yourself up to date by clicking the link here. After Pope’s 35 minutes were up, it was time to chat with the ones who will be putting the ball in the hoop this season. All 12 scholarship players were made available for Media Day interviews on the team’s practice court in the Joe Craft Center basement.

Hear from every single one of them through the videos below. From their thoughts on Pope to expectations for their season as Wildcats, and everything in between, there was plenty to discuss. The season unofficially begins with Big Blue Madness this Friday at Rupp Arena.
