Start time announced for Cowboys-Steelers Sunday Night Football following lightning delay
A new start time has been announced for Sunday Night Football between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. The game was delayed at the start due to lightning in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Unfortunately, NFL fans had to wait and let the lightning clear the area.
The game is set to officially get underway around 9:45 PM EST on Sunday night, according to Maria Taylor of Football Night in America. And the players will come out to warm up at 9:25 PM EST.
Shortly before the game was set to start, the Acrisure Stadium Twitter page announced an update on the delay.
Players in both locker rooms had to figure out how to keep themselves occupied. The NBC broadcast showed sandwiches getting delivered to the players before the game, to give them a quick snack before game time.
The Dallas Cowboys currently sit at 2-2 overall and the Steelers sit at 3-1 overall, sitting at first place in the AFC North.
