Will Howard injury update: Peacock broadcast reveals update on Ohio State QB status

Ohio State quarterback Will Howard suffered an injury late in the second quarter on Saturday night. He was drilled in the chest during a play. He lied on the ground for minute, was evaluated by Ohio State medical staff, and then eventually headed to the Buckeyes’ sideline. Shortly after, the Buckeyes inserted backup quarterback Devin Brown into the game.

Brown completed a touchdown pass to freshman star receiver Jeremiah Smith, who continues to dominate in his freshman campaign. During the second half of the Peacock broadcast of Ohio State-Michigan State, the broadcast updated the status of the Buckeyes starting quarterback, Will Howard.

He came back into the game for Ohio State at the start of the third quarter. So, he appears to be fine for now.
