Malik Nabers injury update: Giants WR taken to locker room in fourth quarter vs. Cowboys
Giants star wide receiver Malik Nabers has been impressing early in his rookie season with the franchise. He’s been the dominant player they believed he could be. Unfortunately for New York, he went to the locker room late in the fourth quarter on Thursday Night Football, after he crashed down out of bounds landing on his helmet face first.
Nabers was slow to get up after the play. Spent some time in the medical tent being evaluated by trainers and medical staff, before eventually heading to the locker room. Shortly after, the Amazon Prime broadcast updated his status, with Al Michaels saying Nabers had a concussion.
The Cowboys won the Thursday Night Football game, 20-15, over the Giants. Dallas sealed the win after Amani Oruwariye had an interception in the closing seconds.
That wasn’t without an excellent performance by Nabers. He hauled in 12 catches for 115 yards before leaving the game with a concussion.
Through the first four games of his NFL career, Nabers has 35 catches for 386 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
