Yahya Black excited to play in home state

This weekend Yahya Black will need a few extra tickets from his teammates. He said on Tuesday that when he plays for the final time at a Hawkeye in his home state, he will need approximately 20 tickets for family and friends.

Black discusses his growth as a vocal leader this year and how he took that baton from players like Logan Lee and Joe Evans from last year’s squad. He discusses that process and how he has appreciated the way that defensive line coach Kelvin Bell has challenged him in his career. He also talks about how some people on staff think he could have been an outstanding left tackle and his thoughts on those comments.
