PHOTO GALLERY: #6 Iowa Field Hockey vs Delaware

It was Alumni Day at Grant Field on Sunday afternoon and the 1999 Final Four team was honored at halftime. The former Hawkeyes saw Iowa pick up a hard-fought 1-0 shutout win over Delaware.

The lone goal of the game was scored in the 18th minute by senior forward Annika Herbine. The 15th goal of her career approved to be enough for the Hawkeyes. The Iowa defense held strong, despite facing some pressure from the Blue Hens late in the game. They have now won 31 straight games against non-ACC non-conference opponents dating back to the 2017 season.

HawkeyeReport.com photographer Dennis Scheidt was at Grant Field on Sunday afternoon to capture some photos of the action. The Hawkeyes will travel to Evanston to face the top-ranked Northwestern Wildcats on Friday.
